New year in Perth CBD sees new pop-ups at Fiveight’s Carillon City

Fiveight has kicked off the new year with the arrival of two new pop-ups at its flagship Perth CBD retail site, Carillon City.

The new pop-ups have opened throughout the centre, with Leon Ewing’s ‘Save The Creative’ Exhibition and Pigeonhole leveraging Carillon City’s site exposure during over Summer.

Leon Ewing is a conceptual artist working across sound, media and performance.  Ewing’s arrival to Carillon City is part of Activate Perth’s Save the Artist program, which aims to provide artists with high-exposure spaces across the city to exhibit their work. Leon’s ‘Save The Creative’ activation is a one-of-a-kind curated opportunity shop located at H1/2 Carillon City (Murray St). This unique space offers vintage clothing, books, records, and art, with proceeds directly supporting Leon’s community art practice.

This exhibition joins fashion, accessories, homewares and gift retailer, Pigeonhole who opened a new concept store in Carillon City in December, with an array of unique floral arrangements. Located on the centre’s Hay Street level, the pop-up gives city-dwellers an opportunity to purchase unique and local gifts.

The pop-ups build on the collaboration with Fringe World 2025, which opened its first ever CBD box office in Carillon City in December. Each of the new tenancies are championed by Carillon City’s Spaces Between initiative, which aims to invite the people of Perth back into the city to connect, experience and discover.
