Indigo Oscar and Cape Lodge Restaurant Awarded 2026 AGFG Chef Hats – AGAIN!

Fiveight is proud to announce that Indigo Oscar and Cape Lodge Restaurant have each been awarded a coveted Chef Hat in the 2026 Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG), a distinction that places both venues within the top 1% of restaurants in Australia, for the second year in a row.

The AGFG Chef Hats are among the nation’s most respected culinary honours, recognising outstanding technique, creativity, consistency, and exceptional dining experiences. This achievement is a testament to the vision, dedication, and talent of our hospitality teams, who continue to elevate the standard of dining across Western Australia.

At Indigo Oscar, Head Chef Caio Matiussi leads a kitchen that celebrates vibrant Latin American flavours, coastal produce, and a spirit of fun and generosity. The recognition follows a year of growth, innovation, and an ever‑evolving menu that reflects Caio’s passion and artistry.

Under the leadership of Head Chef Iain Robertson and set within the pristine surrounds of Margaret River, Cape Lodge Restaurant continues its legacy of delivering refined, produce‑driven dining that champions seasonality and the region’s world‑class ingredients. The Chef Hat affirms the restaurant’s place as one of Western Australia’s premier culinary destinations.

Fiveight Operations Director, Kim Lawrence, says the recognition reflects the passion and dedication of both teams.
“We are incredibly proud to see Indigo Oscar and Cape Lodge Restaurant acknowledged among Australia’s best, again. This achievement is a testament to the creativity, hard work and ongoing pursuit of excellence across both venues.”

Fiveight congratulates the teams at both venues for this exceptional achievement and looks forward to another year of memorable dining, innovation, and continued excellence.
