We have a vision to reinvigorate the heart of Fremantle with a premium landmark hotel on the site of the former Spicers Building.
Our proposal has been carefully designed to sit comfortably alongside Fremantle’s historic architecture and existing public spaces. It will transform the 2,834sqm site, currently used as a carpark, with a six-storey, 117-room boutique hotel featuring a ground floor hotel lobby, retail spaces, guest amenities (including a rooftop terrace with swimming pool) and one level of basement carparking for up to 48 vehicles.
There will also be opportunities for alfresco dining, community events and social gatherings in tree-lined pedestrian-friendly spaces.
The site was once home to the famous Spicer & Detmold building, which was demolished in the 1970s. We acquired it in 2018.
